Share Accounts
Every member of American Southwest Credit Union has a Regular Share (Savings) Account. It represents your "share" of ownership in the Credit Union, and it requires that a minimum balance of $5.00 be maintained at all times to keep your membership open. Individual and joint accounts are available. You can have all or a portion of your Direct Deposit directed to your savings. Dividends are calculated daily and paid quarterly.

Money Market Accounts
For those of you who like your money liquid, but want a higher rate paid to you, we have two, attractive money market accounts to offer you. Our Sapphire Money Market Account pays an aggressive rate with the minimum balance starting at $2,000. Our Diamond Money Market Account starts at $20,000 for those of our members who want to invest a larger amount. Dividends are calculated daily and paid quarterly.
The Flexible Money Market Account offers multiple tiers with tiered rates ranging from a minimum of $2,000 to over $50,000 all in one product. With this product, you will be able to have variable balances without limitation. This means you will be paid a dividend rate comparable to market rates on three different teirs of $2,000, $20,000 and $50,000. As with all our savings products, you will still have federal deposit insurance protecting your account.
